Denise Leto is a queer, multidisciplinary poet, writer and dance dramaturge. Her current project, home (Body), is a collaborative poetry/dance/video installation and performance at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art. She co-created “The San Francisco Baylands Eco-Poetry Project.” Her work has appeared most recently in “Orion,” “Jacket2,” "Mollyhouse" and “About Place: Practices of Hope.” Poetry is forthcoming on The Poetry Foundation's site. She is the author of the poetry book for the dance/sound art/performance, Your Body is Not a Shark and the collaborative chapbook Waveform with Amber DiPietra. She does cross-genre, disability culture work with the international art collective, Olimpias.
