The 2026 New Orleans Poetry Festival’s Small Press Bookfair is back at the New Orleans Healing Center (2372 St. Claude Ave.) all weekend long—Friday through Sunday, April 17–19, 10 AM to 5 PM. It’s free, it’s open to the public, and it’s the place to score fresh books straight from presses. New this year: the Small Press Fair Happy Hour (Friday, 4:00–5:15 PM) in the Grand Hall. Nothing else will be happening during that time, so everybody’s invited to hang out, sip a drink, snack, and mix it up with poets and publishers. ~~Buy a book. Drink for free.~~ ; )
