blake nemec blake nemec is a writer, transdisciplinary artist, and somatic coach, based in Chicago, whose work focuses on embodied literatures, anti-pastoral wildness and abolition. Sharing Plastic and his other work has been featured in journals, anthologies, festivals or conferences such as &NOW, Entitle-Undisciplined Environments, JUPITER 88, the Rio Grande Review, or Captive Genders; Trans Embodiment & the Prison Industrial Complex. He received an MFA in bilingual Spanish and English Creative Writing from the University of Texas at El Paso and is a SFAI as well as a Lambda Literary Fellow. He has long worked as a sound recordist in queer independent movies, the latest being the documentary Desire Lines.
