Lewis Freedman is writing this bio on a couch at the home of his in-laws in St. Louis, Missouri in late November in the year 2025. He's long understood that the graphemic difference between Lewis and Louis means that no one there will recognize the phonemic similarity unprompted, and he's going to try not to bring it up today.
