Canese Jarboe is the author of SISSY (Garden-Door Press, 2024). Jarboe has received fellowships and grants from National Endowment for the Arts, Tallgrass Artist Residency, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Nō Studios. Their work has recently appeared in Poetry and The American Poetry Review. They live in Kansas City, Missouri with their partner.
