Spencer Silverthorne is the author of the chapbook Occasions for Listening published by Buttonhook Press. His poems can also be found in Action, Spectacle, Black Warrior Review, Dialogist, Dream Pop Journal, Gigantic Sequins, Maudlin House, Sundog Lit, Variant Literature, and other journals. He holds degrees from Kenyon College, University of New Orleans, and University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Currently, he teaches writing at University of North Carolina at Pembroke where he serves as the faculty adviser for the student publication The Aurochs.
