Rodney Jones
Rodney Jones is the author of eleven books of poetry. Among the awards he has received are the National Book Critics Circle Award, the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Prize, and NEA and Guggenheim fellowships. Salvation Blues was shortlisted for the Griffin International Poetry Prize, Elegy for the Southern Drawl was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, and Things that Happen Once was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Poetry Award. His work has won two Pushcart Prizes and been selected for nine editions of Best American Poetry. In 2016 he was inducted into the Alabama Writers Hall of Fame.
