Maha Ahmed
Maha Ahmed is an Egyptian-American poet and translator. She is a Literature and Creative Writing PhD candidate at University of Houston specializing in Empire Studies. She received her MFA in Poetry from the University of Oregon where she was the recipient of the Promising Scholar Award. Her poetry can be found in The Adroit Journal, Rusted Radishes, The Recluse, Grist, and elsewhere. Her critical and creative work explores the Arab-American diaspora, Marxist poetics, and the Avant-Garde.
