Teresa Marita McGuire was born to write, and she writes from the heart. Love and social justice are central themes of Teresa’s writing. The independent author published My Soul Speaks Poems about Love with heartwarming poetry and stories about real love. Teresa’s short story, Coffee for Two, was published in the Southern Christian Writers Conference ebook, It’s a (Coffee) Date, August 2022.
Spoken word is another avenue for Teresa’s writing. She was the 2021 winner of the “History around Memphis” Poetry Slam presented by the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, TN. She was the podcast feature on Poetry in the Bar for April 18, 2021. Her writing appeared in Breathe Christian Writers Conference blogs.
A Tennessee girl living in Mississippi, Teresa is a school counselor who enjoys traveling and walking. Occasionally, she shares her walking reflections in the blog, As for Me. She is podcast host for in the W. O. R. K. S., a discussion about Workplace of Respect, Kindness and Safety.
