Bryce Kahari

Bryce Kahari is Black queer poet, playwright, spoken word artist, and public health leader who has empowered and engaged creative writing artists around the world. He founded the online Instagram poetry community Poetry Battles where he serves as its Editor-in-Chief. Through this online community, Bryce has pioneered over 20 month-long creative writing competitions, artist education guides, competition challenges, and activities. He's also had the distinct honor of interviewing Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Jericho Brown. Bryce often writes about social justice topics. He lives in Biloxi, Mississippi.
