Elisabeth Perez is a Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cajun French creative writer from Southwest Louisiana. She graduated from Northwestern State University of Louisiana in English Education (2019) and studied Spanish at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (2022) and the Universidad de Quintana Roo (2017). She taught English as a Foreign Language while living in Chile and then later in Argentina from 2020-2024. Currently, she enjoys working at Faulkner House Books in the French Quarter and writing educational curriculum for the Louisiana Décima Project with the Institute for Public Ethnomusicology.
