Ken Walker (he/him/his) is the author of the chapbooks Collision Mirage and Traces of Drains (Either Or Not Editions); Antworten (Greying Ghost), and Twenty Glasses of Water (Diez). His poems and translations can be found in Fence, Boston Review, The Brooklyn Rail, Tammy, ANMLY and others. His prose, interviews, and reviews can be found in The Poetry Project Newsletter, Hyperallergic, The Oxonian Review, Diagram, and others. He holds an MA in Philosophy from Tulane University and an MFA from Brooklyn College. He lives in The Bay Area and founded the press Bay Sound Editions with the poet Mason Pashia.
His latest projects in-development are concerned with infrastructural sewage and water access throughout the world as well as the systemic practices of white flight and how they inform, incapacitate and reveal the unspoken and silent truths about distances and spaces between how people live in the United States. In addition, he is the sole translator of the work of the German poet, Georg Herwegh, and has previously translated Colombian and Chilean poets from the Spanish original. He is also the host and producer of the FM radio show (now podcast) Post Poet Pop.
