Caleb Curtiss

Caleb Curtiss (he/him) is a writer and teacher from downstate Illinois. His debut poetry collection, Age of Forgiveness, was published in September of this year by Sundress Publications. Previously, Black Lawrence put forth A Taxonomy of the Space Between Us, a hybrid work of poetry that won the 2014 Black River Chapbook Competition. Caleb's creative work explores the intersection of memory and formal play. His poems, essays, visual erasures, fiction, and reviews have appeared in Gettysburg Review, Ninth Letter, Witch Craft Magazine, American Short Fiction, International Poetry Review, Image, New England Review, TriQuarterly, the Southern Review, and others. In 2022 the state of Delaware honored his poetry with an Established Arts Fellowship. He teaches in the composition program at the University of Delaware and in the MFA program at Vermont College of Fine Arts.
