Daphne Maysonet is a Caribbean-American writer whose poetry can be found in Southern Indiana Review and Chautauqua, and whose prose can be found at Luna Luna Magazine and The Memphis Flyer. She has presented and read at the New Orleans Poetry Festival, New York City Poetry Festival, Writers for Migrant Justice - Memphis and Kansas City's Fountainverse. She received her MFA from the University of Memphis, where she served as lead poetry editor for The Pinch. Previous editorial roles include Sand Hills and Corner Club Press, which she co-founded. She was a finalist for the 2021 Graywolf Citizen Literary Fellowship and winner of the South Central MLA Poetry Prize.
