The 2026 New Orleans Poetry Festival’s Small Press Bookfair is now (as of 12/2/25) sold out. We're sorry we couldn't accommodate the huge demand this year. Be sure to check in early next year to reserve for 2027!

The bookfair takes place at the New Orleans Healing Center (2372 St. Claude Ave.) all weekend long—Friday through Sunday, April 17–19, 10 AM to 5 PM. It’s free, it’s open to the public, and it’s the place to score fresh books straight from presses. New this year: the Small Press Fair Happy Hour (Friday, 4:00–5:15 PM) in the Grand Hall. Nothing else will be happening during that time, so everybody’s invited to hang out, sip a drink, snack, and mix it up with poets and publishers. ~~Buy a book. Drink for free.~~  ;  )

Join this robust group of presses and organizations represented at festivals past and future!
