Jessica Piazza

Jessica Piazza is the author of several poetry collections: the multi-award winning Interrobang (Red Hen Press), Obliterations (Red Hen Press) and This is not a sky (Black Lawrence Press). She is a co-founder of Bat City Review in Austin, TX and Gold Line Press in Los Angeles, CA, as well as the curator of the blog Poetry Has Value, which focuses on the intersections of poetry, money and worth. She holds a Ph.D. in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Southern California, where she teaches writing, as well as a Masters in English Literature / Creative Writing from UT Austin. She is a 2019 recipient of the Amy Clampitt Residency, and was most recently published in Best American Poetry 2018.
