Moira Egan

Moira Egan has published eight volumes of poetry (five in the U.S.; three in Italy): most recently, Synæsthesium (The New Criterion Poetry Prize, 2017) and Olfactorium (Italic PeQuod, 2018). Her poems and essays have appeared in journals and anthologies on four continents. She has held writing fellowships at Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation Fellow); St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity, Malta; Civitella Ranieri Center; Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center; James Merrill House. With her husband, Damiano Abeni, she has published twenty+ volumes in translation in Italy (including Ashbery, Ferlinghetti, Hecht, Simic, Strand, Vuong, Charles Wright).
